Drake Richey

Drake Richey’s career has been shaped by a commitment to service, economic principles, and purpose-driven financial planning. After graduating from Trinity College (CT) with a B.A. in Economics, he and his wife, Sarah, spent two years working in ministry with Focus (infocus.org), mentoring high school and college students in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
In 2007, Drake transitioned to finance, joining Fitch Ratings in New York as an Analyst. He later spent eight years at Wells Fargo, rising to Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking before making a career pivot in 2015. That year, he joined Bush & Company, partnering with Jamie to expand the firm’s ability to serve more families, business owners, and future generations of existing clients. With Drake’s leadership, the firm has seen substantial growth in its planning and investment management offerings, ensuring that Bush & Company continues to provide a sophisticated blend of holistic, values-driven, financial and estate planning strategies.
Drake is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), and holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses. In addition to his work at Bush & Company, he is actively involved in the Boston community, serving on several charitable boards.
He and his wife, Sarah, live in Boston with their four children, Draper, George, Beatrice, and William. Outside of work, Drake enjoys spending time with his family, biking, and skiing in Vermont.
